Pelee Island is a 42km² island in the middle of Lake Erie located between Ontario and Ohio. Officially, it is the southernmost inhabited/populated point in all of Canada. It's located approximately 30 kilometres from the mainland. Leamington and Kingsville are the closest Canadian centres, and where you catch the ferry to the island.
